Current Request for Proposals

Through the work of the Foundation’s Mental Health Task Force, chaired by Susan Silver, the Foundation is issuing an innovative Request for Proposals (RFP).

The project, Strengthening the Safety Net in the Middle Schools, is designed to encourage public and private schools to address universal mental health supports, mental health education and access to mental health treatment for students. Grant awards will range from $50,000 to $75,000 per year; up to three middle schools within our service area will be funded, for up to three years.

Each school will be required to partner with a non-profit mental health agency and to work as a team to implement the project goals.
