Projects We Will
Consider Funding
Projects that include
direct service provision, prevention education, and/or community
education.
Demonstration projects
(designed to be replicated by other charitable service providers); pilot
projects (which may result in new and better ways in which to provide
charitable services); and collaborative projects between two or more
organizations.
Research studies and capital needs directly tied to charitable
projects in the Foundation's four areas of interest and which will
strongly impact the communities we serve.
Renewal grants for two
years following the initial grant, as deemed appropriate.
Thereafter, the Foundation expects the organization to continue the
project with funds from other sources or to absorb it into its operating
budget.
PLEASE NOTE:
-
Periodically, the
Foundation may announce funding initiatives, possibly in conjunction
with other charitable funding organizations. In these cases,
the Foundation will publish a Request for Proposal with specific
guidelines and deadlines.
-
The Foundation will
also occasionally make Challenge Grants, whereby the recipient
charitable organization will be required to raise funds from other
sources in order to receive a matching gift from Mountainside Health
Foundation.
