Charitable Funding
Guidelines
Each grant and project we fund must have
the greatest possible impact on improved health for individuals in our
community.

Grant Cycle
Grants will be approved on a rolling
basis. Applicants can expect to receive a final determination on their
requests within three months of submission. In the interim, in order for
us to fully understand the goals of your proposal, Foundation staff may
contact you to:
• Request additional materials
• Schedule a telephone call to discuss the proposal
• Request a meeting at the Foundation offices
• Schedule a site visit at your location
Application Procedure
Prior to a not-for-profit organization
submitting a full proposal, applicants must complete the pre-application
form.
Upon receipt of the pre-application,
Foundation staff will inform applications whether a full application
should be submitted, or that the project will not be considered.
Submit one copy of your
application electronically to
ksmith@mshfoundation.org and mail a hard copy to the
Foundation offices with all required materials
attached. (See Common Application for the list of 20 required
attachments). |
